Shanghai, China, 27 July 2020 – Chinese law firm FenXun Partners announces today that Kevin Yuan has joined the firm's Financial Services team as senior counsel, from AllBright Law Offices. He is based in Shanghai and will be collaborating with the firm's team throughout China, as well as lawyers in the Financial Services Group of Baker McKenzie through the Baker McKenzie FenXun Joint Operation platform, to serve domestic and international financial institutions on all transactional and advisory aspects of their business.

Kevin brings with him extensive regulatory and corporate compliance experience in financial services, having counseled many leading Chinese and international banks and insurance companies on regulatory and compliance matters in relation to establishment of new businesses and new products, reorganization and restructuring of business operations, structuring of cross-border transactions, and formulating risk control and corporate compliance policies and framework. Kevin has also advised multinational banks on contentious matters, including litigations under the jurisdiction of the Supreme People's Court of China as well as overseas litigations and arbitrations in North America, Europe and Hong Kong.

In addition, Kevin has worked in multinational banks, insurance companies and electronic payment services providers (among them, Bank of China (Head Office), Standard Chartered Bank (China) and HSBC Life Insurance), taking on senior leadership roles in charge of legal, compliance, anti-money laundering, risk control and corporate governance functions.
